Exit Köln-Niehl

Please follow the signs "Niehl, Merkenich, Ford Niehl". After about 1 km on Industriestraße you come to a traffic circle, here follow the signposting "Zentrum, Hafen Niehl". At the next junction, follow half on the left side signs "Bonn, Euskirchen". You are now on Boltensternstraße. The first possibility to turn right, direction Köln-Niehl, is Friedrich-Karl-Straße, after about 200 m on the left side, the entrance to the printing centre and the visitor's parking space branches off from this road.


Airport

By taxi or rail about 20 minutes to Cologne inner city.

From the main railway station: 

By underground railway [U-Bahn] line 16 to the bus stop at Amsterdamer Straße/Gürtel.

From the Mülheim railway station: 

By tram line 13 to Amsterdamer Straße/Gürtel.

Further rail and bus connections within Cologne: 

From Köln-Klettenberg by tram line 13 to Amsterdamer Straße/Gürtel.

From Holweide by tram line 13 to Amsterdamer Straße/Gürtel.

From Ebertplatz by bus line 140 to Friedrich-Karl-Straße (bus stop Neven DuMont Haus).


Via the motorway

North:

A1/E37 (Dortmund/Wuppertal) via the motorway junction Leverkusen direction Koblenz to the exit Köln-Niehl.

A3/E35 (Oberhausen) via the motorway junction Leverkusen direction Koblenz and further on the A1/E37 to the exit Köln-Niehl.

A59 (Düsseldorf) until the motorway junction Leverkusen-West. Then onto the A1/E37 direction Koblenz until the exit
Köln-Niehl.

A57/E31 (Krefeld/Neuss) until the motorway junction Köln-Nord. Then on the A1/E37 direction North-East Leverkusen/Dortmund until the exit Köln-Niehl.

West:

A4/E40 (Aachen) until the motorway junction Köln-West. There follow the marking Richtung Dortmund on the A1/E31 until the exit Köln-Niehl.

South:

A1/E31 (Euskirchen/Koblenz) via the motorway junction Köln-West and Köln-Nord E37 until the exit Köln-Niehl.

A553 (Bliesheim) until Brühl-Nord and then direction Köln-Godorf to the A555. See description A555.

A555 (Bonn) to the distribution circuit Cologne. Then via Militärringstraße, Rheinuferstraße and Boltensternstraße into Friedrich-Karl-Straße.

A59 (Bad Honnef) via motorway junction Airport, motorway triangle Porz and motorway triangle Köln-Heumar to the A3 to motorway junction Köln-Ost. Then see description from motorway junction Köln-Ost.

A3 (Frankfurt) via the motorway triangle Köln-Heumar direction North to the motorway junction Köln-Ost. Then see description from motorway junction Köln-Ost.

East:

A4 (Olpe) to motorway junction Köln-Ost. Then see description from motorway junction Köln-Ost.

Motorway junction Köln-Ost in direction Zentrum Zoo-Brücke. Then exit Niehl/Zoo/Flora and in direction of the Children's hospital [Kinderkrankenhaus]. About 500 m after the children's hospital, on Amsterdamer Straße, the Neven DuMont building is located in the direction of travel.
